GENERAL RULES FOR SUMMER CAMP
Camp Gorton
Special notes for first day at camp:
Physical/Medications forms must be completed by the time we go to camp. If the scout has had a physical in the last year that will work. Just get a
signed copy from the doctor.
Make sure your son has a big, late breakfast. The first meal in camp is dinner.
Make sure your scout has a water bottle with a belt clip or caribeener.
The adults in camp can keep track of your son's spending money if you want us to. Just have it in an envelope with dispersal instructions on it.
Finally, we will take swim tests soon after we get to camp. Have your son wear his swim suit under his (Class “A”) uniform.
Adults at Camp:
We can always use more parents at camp. If you can't stay over, we can always use help in the form of day visits.
Please let me know if you can help.
Thanks!
You will need Youth Protection to be current and be a Registered Adult Member of the Troop. Both those things can be taken care of in a day.
